Standing still...

Somebody rang to speak with my boss today. He asked him whether I was 'new.' My boss laughed and said "She's been here for years."

Oh. Good. God.

That is probably the worst thing you can hear, that you've been at a company so long that you're a piece of antique furniture firmly wedged to the floor. This is a sign to get out. Oh wait- there's a recession- I forgot :P
