One word- AMAZING!!!!!!!!

I love Rihanna. Edgy, cool, stylish, daring!

Marilyn Manson???

WOAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Unrecognisable.

Marilyn Manson looks like any other middle-aged man.
Dull, boring, and not in the least bit attractive.
Course he doesn't care- he's bagged himself a 22 year old girlfriend, ugh.

Fact: Alexa Chung is very pretty. Fiction: Being that skinny is good.

Alexa Chung is a beauty, yup.
She's going out with someone famous and talented, yup.
She is too skinny, YES!

I bet she eats very little. When you're on TV you can't exactly stuff your face!

R.I.P Brittany Murphy

Isn't it sad to hear of the death of one of Hollywood's most promising young actresses (once upon a time.....)

When Brittany burst on to the big screen in Clueless with Alicia Silverstone, her career went from strength to strength, and starred in other great movies such as Girl Interrupted and the comedy with ex-lover Ashton Kutcher- Just Married.

I always thought she was beautiful, cheeky looking, happy, smiley and content. If it's true about her taking loads of prescription drugs like Vicodin and feeling bad about her appearance, we should feel sorry, not comparing her to loads of other Hollywood stars that did the same. I suppose it must be really hard working in that industry where for women look sare EVERYTHING. For men it's not as hard- look at Adam Sandler and Seth Rogen. Enough said. Not all blokes are Gerard Butlers and Chris Pines!

Although Brittany hasn't been in any hits for a while, it didn't mean she was a bad 'failed' actress. I wish her family all the ebst for the future and hope they find out what happened to her. The media should lay off, but of course, they won't!

Very sad :(

I'm going ice skating tomorrow.....

...at The Tower of London. Wooooooooooooooooo!

This is the first time EVER I am going ice-skating during the festive season- in London- and I am really looking forward to it.

I just hope (PRAY) that I can actually get there with all the bloody snow around, you know the thick blankets of the evil stuff covering everything, everywhere!

I haven't gone ice-skating for ages but am sure I'm gonna SLIDE right back in to it, ha ha!

Some of the best dressed stars of December....

Penelope Cruz
I adore her! GORGEOUS AND PERFECT as usual. Here she is at the premiere for her new movie
'Nine.'

And Danii Minogue, at the X Factor Final.

Fergie Ferg! I love grecian style dresses, although for some reason
this one makes her look like she doesn't have a neck!

Zoe Salmon at the US premiere of Avatar. She's often
mistaken for Thandie Newton, and I can see why, but she's
a gorgeous girl in her own right!

Unusually Elizabeth Hurley. I think she shows off her boobs way too much, but this dress
is just divine and it suits her. I would love to wear it, not sure who designed it.

Lastly, Katy Perry.
I love this dress. It makes her look A-MAZING. Gorgeous body that girl has as well!

Ahhh Cheryl, Cheryl, Cheryl!

Pet, you always look AMAZING.

I am dead on trend this month, as I have been sporting some similar earrings to Mrs Cole.
Of course, mine are a tad less expensive. Ok, a lot less expensive. Hers are clearly diamonds, but I'm not sure where they're from.

They look suspiciously like  Butler & Wilson, but surely she can afford the best, for example the diamond experts- De Beers!

See my earrings below. £2 from Primark. (The shame!)

The votes are in...

...for NEW MOON, the second installment of the Twillight saga.

So I said I would review the eagerly anticipated New Moon movie....and this is what I have to say.

AMAZING.

(Although it does move really slowly, so if it were minus the eye candy that is Patterson and Lautner, it would be a drag!)

The Descent 2- coming to creep you out soon!

Oh man! I just loved The Descent- that creepy claustrophobic horror movie where those gorgeous cave-exploring girls get slashed up by half-human half-dunno-what breed of predators.

It was one of the scariest horror movies (to me) of all time.

I remember when it came out, in 2005, it got rave reviews and now has cult status!

Can't wait for the second part, which carries on where the first one left off, to come out!!!!!!! It was due for release in May of this year but has been hel dup (not sure why)...but you know how these things go. The longer we wait, the more we anticipate!

I am a big horror fan and expect great things from the sequel, although it would be naive of me to even think it could top the original!

She can run this town tonight!

Rihanna looked fierce at the American Music Awards. First wearing a Marchesa dress (really interesting cut-out design, very old-school glamour mixed in with a modern arrhitectural   feel), and then a very daring white bandage outfit that barely covered her nipples and crotch area! She rivalled Lady Gaga who is known for her love of the wierd and wacky.

Princess of Pop Miss RiRi is back!

Company magazine keeps us informed!

In the December issue of my favourite British glossy, Company, they have written a special report on how Facebook is being used to warn women about crime in their local areas.

It was a really good read. I've been asked to join countless groups on Facebook asking to petition against homophobia, student rights etc. But groups warning women about crime and giving safety tips, is a really smart idea- and makes Facebook a beneficial tool to getting the message out to the masses. Who said it was just for photos and status updates!

In the report it stated how the police supported the use of Facebook to warn women of these dangers.

I think if it wasn't for Facebook we wouldn't know about what was going on right in front of us.

Company is always churning out informative, interesting and inspirational articles. All of the reports in the December issue are worth reading, and the story about Jono and Laura is heartwarming.

Surprised? I didn't think so!

The second installment of the Twillight saga, New Moon, took an astonishing £44 million at the box office

R-PATZ HAS A LOT TO SMILE ABOUT.

WITH BIG TAKINGS COME BIG SALARIES.

THE TWILLIGHT STARS WILL SOON BE AS RICH AS THE
HARRY POTTER TRIO. THEY PROBABLY COULD RETIRE BY THE AGE OF 30!

X Factor cutie

I loved Cheryl's little dress that she sported on The X Factor, Saturday night.
But then again, I always love what she wears (minus that dustbin lid dress!)

I often hear a lot of people say that Cheryl looks over coiffed and over styled- like Posh. So a girl can't look good? She wouldn't be Cheryl without the clothes, hair and Northern charm!

Nicola Roberts also looked wonderful in her hot pink dress and elegant girly heels.

Kimberley Walsh, I've thought, always looked beautiful and is really shapely- a woman's woman!
She shows that you can't go wrong in a body con dress with simple accessories and glamorous hair.

Sarah Harding was looking vampy- which suits her. I see a distinction between her and Gossip Girl's Taylor Momsen. They've been looking very similar of late. I wonder who inspired who?? Or is there someone that they are taking their inspiration from??

I wanna ask trendy band The Sugababes why on earth are they always wear granny tights? It makes their legs look awful- chunky and unfashionable. They are gorgeous, slim girls, so this ain't right! Instead they should go for au natural, black, or patterned ones.

New Moon tomorrow......

My friend Sarah and I are going to watch New Moon tomorrow, the second installment of the Twillight Saga.

She's Team Jacob, me Team Edward, ha ha! We are not DIE HARD FANS by the way. Honest.

I enjoyed the first movie, and am hoping the second will be better despite the bad reviews so far. I always like to make my own mind up, and despite the bitchy comments that follow Kristen Stewart, I think she is quite a good little actress.

The hype accredits much of the fuss, but the 'Sexiest Man in the World', Robert Pattison is another good reason thousands of women will be seeing it (although he doesn't appear in it very much, sigh!)

Review coming your way soon!

Those shoes again...this time on Leona!

One of my favourite gals in the music business, Leona Lewis from ACKneyyyyy, was spotted at a party in LA wearing the Melissa for Vivienne Westwood jelly heart shoes that I adore! This time in purple, which I've never seen before.

She looks gorgeous. Apparently she has lost a lot of weight. The 'America effect?'

I am now the proud owner of JIMMY CHOO SHOES!

Well, I survived the carnage that was the JIMMY CHOO FOR H&M launch on Saturday morning, after queuing up for 10 hours overnight in the RAIN, WIND, and sub-zero temperatures- in a tent, and eating MacDonalds for dinner and breakfast! Not a good combo, for obvious reasons!

Sleeping it rough was a wierd experience. You were so exposed; open to all kinds of abuse and harrassment from drunk louts and immature tourists, risk of getting a cold/flu/chill/pneumonia from sitting in the freezing November weather, and the sheer boredom of waiting 10 hours for the shop doors to open at 9am. Waiting for that moment when you would be one of the lucky ones to get your hands on some designer shoes, immortalised by the ultimate fashionista Carrie Bradshaw.

When it came to this 'event,' I made sure I was fully prepared. And I mean I prepared for MONTHS- this included looking at every picture of the shoes I could find, finding out what stores were launching it, what stores had what products, the wristband system, what time to start queuing (although that was a good guess) and what I would like for myself before selecting the popular overly-advertised ones to sell!

Saddo/mad woman/crazy/silly some might say, but to others I am a dedicated fashionista! (Thanks Maria!) I agree!

They turned on the lights inside the store at like 7.30am, and we all got really excited...maybe too excited since there was still an hour and a half to go! The Choo Crew packed up their tents, put away their survival kits, folded up their bags that has previously been rammed with food and drink, and tried to summon up what little remaining energy they had left!

Things didn't get interesting till 9.00am on the dot, where the security guard told us (not once, but three times) 'not to run, but walk.' He talked to us like we were toddlers. In fact I think I've heard mums say that same line to their kids in the supermarkets/shopping centres.

We were then given the wrist bands, colour coded for what group you were in. As Rob and I were 7th in the queue, we were in the top 20- the CHOSEN ONES! And were the 9.15 group- THE FIRST ONES! A small group of stragglers had formed in front of the doors to which we met them with such ferocity that wolves would have been impressed by! 'Nobody is cutting in after we queued in the rain' one woman shouted, and this was met by agreeing growls all round- me included! To further shitstir, another man (the ferocious woman's husband- go figure!) pointed out to the secueity guard to 'check each person that walks through the doors has a wristband.'

We were very territorial. Very competitive. Not with ourselves but at how hard we were trying not to let anyone get one over us. A few of us were worried we wouldn't get anything, which I know, is ridiculous, since we were the FIRST GROUP in a 200+ queue going round the corner past Harvey Nichols!

It's funny thinking about it now- three days later- as obviously the novelty of it all has worn off, and after the initial hype of telling my friends and taking the photos, I am bored! As I write about this 'experience' I find myself thinking how crazy it all was, like I, and all those people had been brainwashed into making this a big deal- because of all the advertisements, glossy magazines, and TV shows like Sex & The City. We are made to believe that shoes are amazing, that Jimmy Choo shoes are a must-have item, that we MUST have them- at any cost. So we camped out all night and are hundreds of pounds poorer (and colder) as a result!

Although I love the shoes I got, it's the HYPE that intices you to do these crazy things. Without it, there would be no interest. Which is why advertisers, actors, and PR girls could rule the world.
Hang on a sec, they already do!!!!!!!!

'Was it worth it,' I hear you shout!

YES!

It will be each girl to herself at dawn!

I will be among other fashionistas ready with her claws out at 9am on Saturday morning- for the launch of JIMMY CHOO for H&M! The biggest collaboration YET (in my opinion).

H&M has collaborated before with big names such as Stella McCartney, Viktor & Rolf, Roberto Cavalli and Karl Lagerfeld.

Luxury Choo-lovers will be issued with wristbands to prevent fighting and CARNAGE (!) in the stores.
The Sun says 'Fans are expected to queue from midnight to grab a pair at H&H.'

Dunno about that, maybe from 2/3am- dam it's gonna be cold at that time of the morning. I'll have to take my duvet with me, as well as a hat, scarf, gloves, double socks, thermals!!!
Apparently the first 160 people in line at selected stores at 9am on Saturday will get the wristbands. They will be given ten minutes in the VIP area in groups of 20 - but limited to buying one item per size. That seems fair enough. I predict most people will put them on ebay anyway, which seems pointless since they are not the 'proper' Jimmy Choos that retail at £400+ a pair, catch my drift......

Range includes: Zebra studded heels - £79.99; gladiator flats - £49.99; mock-snakeskin cowboy boots - £99.99; suede peep-toe boots - £99.99; plastic pink clutch - £39.99; animal scarf - £29.99; faux fur gilet - £59.99; man bag - £149.99.

I have my eye on for a gold pair with studded detail on the heels- picture in one of my earlier posts- and a bag with metal detail with 'Jimmy Choo' written on it, along with a glittery star. Lush!

A lot of people think the women who go and queue up are sad and are too materialistic, but I disagree. For me, I have never been able to afford a pair of these, so it's a big opportunity to own some fabulous footwear for a fraction of the price, and at a excellent quality. Besides, these collaborations become a part of fashion history!

HAPPY SHOE SHOPPING LADIES! :)

Tie-dye is not for the red carpet!

Oh Kristin Stewart! Why???? Why wear that monstrosity on a red carpet at a 'fan-party' in Battersea, London.

You have a lovely figure; slim with nice pins, and you wear this foul-coloured tie-dye dress which clashes with itself, and does you no favours whatsoever.

You could have worn something so pretty- a Marchesa gown, or cute little Gucci number, etc! ESPECIALLY when you stand next to the oh-so-unbelievably-handsome Robert Pattison.

Learn for next time, kid. I think you're a talented actress, no matter what the haters say, but seriously- DRESS TO IMPRESS!

SPLITTING IMAGE OF BLAIR!

Nobody seems to have picked up on this yet (surprisingly!)...but Former Managing Director of Structured Capital Markets at Barclays Roger Jenkins looks just like Tony Blair, but BALD!

Seriously, put a wig on him and it's the former PM.

UNCANNY!

Mrs. Brown steals the show

WOW!

I though the PM's wife, Sarah Brown, looked great in that floor-length olive green dress at the Cosmopolitan Woman of the Year Awards.

Obviously she made a big effort, good for her!

It's not her fault her husband has failed this country. Then again, taking over from Cheshire Cat Blair was never going to be an easy task, was it??

If you didn't know already....

....GOOD THINGS COME IN SMALL PACKAGES.

Kylie Minogue has always been an inspiration to me because she is beautiful,. talented, apparently a lovely and genuine person, battled breast cancer, and supports her sister Danni. Oh- and she's smaller than I am!!!!!!

According to the Daily Mail fashion team, top-to-toe sequins are not the easiest trend to pull off, as all that shimmer and shine can make you look bigger than you really are. So smaller people are supposed to look better. Hurray- something in our favour! Almost everything, clothes-wise, looks better on taller women, but if they have no boobs then I suppose tight cocktail dresses won't look too great, sexy dresses only look good when there's a sexy figure to fill it with!

Whoops, poor Eva Mendes!

I'm sure most of us gals have made that mistake once or twice in our lifetime, yes? (Unless you're a complete and utter CONTROL FREAK that is!)

Cuban actress Eva still looked hot (as always) as she posed for photographers at screening of her new film Bad Lieutenant: Port Of Call New Orleans. Unfortunately, her nipple was showing from a dodgy sideview of her shirt. Oh well! No need to shame her and put that on here too.

They are wearing jeans. So?

It comes as no surprise that I only have nice things to write about Megan Fox.
Yes, I'm a fan of hers. I think she's great. So to continue with my MF-complimentary-streak I'm posting a pic of her clearly not wearing make-up, and dressed down in jeans, flip-flops and a tee. A natural beauty I'm sure you will all agree.

The papers have been making a big deal out of the fact that she is dressed casually- but HELLO (!)- everybody wears jeans/leggings most of the time. Hollywood stars don't walk around in ball gowns 24/7 you morons! Look at the Cruises, Nicole Kidman, Julia Roberts, Gwen Stefani- pretty much most of them- wearing jeans and a t-shirt.

It's a risk I take for the chemistry...

I love love love Alexandrea Burke's first single ft Flo Rida- BAD BOYS.

It's awesome!

I don't think much of the dark video though. For example, Nelly Furtado's Maneater video was SEXY. That stomach, those moves, that setting- sex-on-a-stick.
Alex babe, sorry but yours just ain't.

But the song is so catchy, my i-pod has it on replay. The lyrics are so true- most girls love a bad boy and know they are no good for them but it's worth it for the rush! ;-)

How can you be jealous of your own daughter?

Read this. Stupid woman needs help!

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-1222341/I-used-turned-mens-heads-teenage-daughter--makes-SO-jealous.html

Great :(

Headline on the London Lite today:

'No end to the worst recession in history.'

Great, just great!

I finally find out!

This is lame, but ever since I saw the Amerie video for One Thing, I have been in love with her gold platform shoes!

They were amazing!!! At the time I tried to find out what designer it was, what season, where to buy it- all to no avail.

Now- like 4 years later (!) I've found out.

The make- GUCCI
The design- GOA

I haven't asked what I want for Christmas yet ;)
